Branden has always had a passion for the community. As an undergrad at UC Berkeley, Branden worked as a mentor and tutor for first-generation college students and as a volunteer director at a camp for underprivileged children. While pursuing his law degree at Loyola Marymount University, Branden helped Veterans advocate for their benefits as a volunteer for the Legal Aid Foundation in Los Angeles. Before coming on board as our first staff attorney, Branden supported MoGo as a volunteer attorney while in private practice as a civil litigation attorney. Branden is a proud San Diego resident of nearly a decade. His love for the city was nurtured by his wife, Salina Villegas, a San Diego native who advocates for the community at RISE: San Diego. Branden is also a proud father to two sons. He is a member of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association and an alumni member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
