Supporting Formerly Incarcerated Entrepreneurs
Community Advocates for Just and Moral Governance (MoGo) and Innovations City have teamed up to support formerly incarcerated business owners affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
The Justice Initiative, created by the partnership, has a goal of raising $1 million to provide loans, grants and other business-related resources to formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs in San Diego County who were not able to receive government grants or Paycheck Protection Program funding.
COVID-19 does not discriminate, yet the businesses owned by formerly incarcerated people cannot benefit from the many resources being made available to other business owners. We are asking Community Advocates to help us change that.
We are looking for advocates, leaders, philanthropists, investors and partners to join us in the fundraising effort.
